“North Oxford Developments completely transformed our home. What started as a tired, outdated property is now a beautiful, modern space that works perfectly for us as a family. The new extension and open-plan kitchen have made such a difference — it’s now the heart of our home. The quality of the finish throughout is excellent, and every detail was clearly thought through. The team were reliable, professional, and always kept us informed. They stuck to the timelines they set out and made the whole process far less stressful than we expected. We’re absolutely delighted with the end result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.”
“North Oxford Developments delivered an excellent result on this project. Building two new flats from the ground up alongside an existing property is no small task, but they managed it with confidence and professionalism throughout.
The finish on both units is to a very high standard, and their attention to detail really shows. They were well organised, communicated clearly, and kept the project running smoothly from start to finish.
We were particularly impressed with how they handled the logistics and coordination across the site. The end result speaks for itself, and we’d be more than happy to work with them again.”

We carry out a wide range of commercial construction, from structural alterations and extensions to internal refurbishments, roofing, flooring, electrical work and decoration. Our in-house teams cover most trades, so one contractor can manage the project from groundworks to final finishes. We work with businesses, landlords and property managers across Oxford, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds.
Yes. Structural alterations, such as removing walls, forming new openings or strengthening floors, are part of our work. They are normally designed by a structural engineer and need Building Regulations approval, and planning permission or listed building consent may also apply. We work alongside your engineer and building control to plan temporary support and sequencing safely.
Some do. Under CDM 2015, the commercial client must notify HSE if construction work is expected to last more than 30 working days with more than 20 workers on site at the same time, or to exceed 500 person days. Notification is made in writing, usually using the F10 form, and a copy should be displayed in the site office.
Yes. Much commercial work takes place while a building is in use. We agree working hours, access, deliveries and safe routes with you in advance, and can schedule noisy or disruptive stages out of hours or in phases. Work areas are screened and kept clean so your staff, tenants and visitors can carry on with as little disruption as possible.
Yes. Many commercial projects involve architects, structural engineers, fire consultants or surveyors, and we work alongside them from early design through to completion. If you do not have a design team yet, we can talk through your requirements at an initial consultation and site visit, and help you understand what professional input your project is likely to need.
